About The Event

You’ll be using pre-exposed silkscreen and paper stencils to give you a taster on how screen printing works.

You will learn how to prep screens, pulling a squeegee and mix gorgeous colours. Also a chance for you to create your own design.

This is a great way of learning the basic principles of screen printing. At the end of the workshop, you will produce a series of fabric samples and a printed item.

What is a pre-exposed screen?

These screens are ready to go.

Images are placed on the screen before you arrive, using a photosensitive emotion. This creates a stencil that can be used multiple times. So no drawing or no cutting for you just print.

What is a paper stencils?

A paper stencil, with letters or a design cut from it, applying to silkscreen, then paint is pushed through the cut-out areas.

An idea on what you like to achieve for your own design keep it simple.
